7:30 a.m.

Have you ever really seen 7:30 a.m.?

I've just finished Lauren's pie of the week. I got my hands on the second-to-last piece and am therefore required by the laws of food-etiquette not to covet the last piece but to save it for another roommate, all of whom are bound by the same law, until the last piece of apple pie has grown hard and stale in the refrigerator because no one will eat it.

And because of this, I have no excuses to procrastinate. It's back to Anne Lamott's Bird by Bird and feeling good about myself, which Lamott seems to have the power to do to me. Read her book. It will inspire you to write pointless posts for your blog.

Experiment #4964

Influences: Justin Giunta and Brooke Waggoner.

Mom says "You know, it kind of grows on you."

It's a start. Maybe next time I'll focus more on the the beading and have the cloth function as more of a backdrop.

So will I wear it? On a Courageous Day: yes.

Experiment #4962

Magazines and newspaper make for the most accessible medium to the non-artist; to this non-artist, at least.

And now all I'm left to say is "Oh well. I tried."
